RidePing terms of use

RidePing is provided by COGITO CODE S.R.L., registered office Aleea Tândală nr. 18-20, Sector 3, Bucharest 031882, Romania, Trade Register J40/12985/2023, CUI 48481995.

RidePing is a demand radar for ride-hailing drivers in Romania. It shows nearby demand hotspots and predicted busy windows, and alerts the driver when demand is building close by.

RidePing is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with Uber, Bolt, FreeNow or any ride-hailing platform, and it is not a dispatch service.

Predictions are estimates based on public schedules and driver feedback, not guarantees of rides or income.

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use RidePing. The App Store Usage Rules apply to your use of the app.

Apple's standard EULA applies to your use of the app as the baseline end-user licence.

RidePing Pro is available as two auto-renewable subscriptions, RidePing Pro Weekly and RidePing Pro Monthly, billed through your Apple ID.

New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. The trial is available once per Apple ID, and Apple decides whether you are eligible.

The price for your country is shown in the App Store before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple ID account settings.

Refunds are handled by Apple. If a purchase does not show as Pro in the app, use Restore Purchases in the app.

When the trial or a subscription ends, the free tier remains, with 1 city, 3 HEAD THERE alert banners a day and the today planner.

• Location tracking runs only while you are online in the app. Go offline when you stop driving.
• Do not scrape, copy, abuse or interfere with the app or its servers.
• You are responsible for obeying traffic law and driving safely.
• Do not use the app while driving in a way that distracts you.

We may change, add or remove features as RidePing develops.

Subscription prices may change. Apple shows the current price in the App Store before you subscribe, and applies price changes under its own rules.

RidePing is provided as is, without promises about accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Predictions are estimates, not guarantees of rides or income.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost income or other indirect losses from using, or being unable to use, the app.

You can stop using RidePing at any time. To stop a subscription renewing, turn off auto-renew in your Apple ID account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends.

We may suspend or end your access to the app if you breach these terms.

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Your rights as a consumer under the law of the EU country where you live are unaffected.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you can use the EU online dispute resolution platform to resolve a dispute without going to court.
